Job Summary

Lead maintenance and service delivery for a construction-focused equipment rental operation at the onsite facility in Abilene. Supervise technicians, oversee preventative maintenance and equipment inspections, schedule repairs for customer and company-owned equipment, and implement service standards and procedures. Serve as an escalation point for customer inquiries, resolve service issues, develop customer relationships, and drive safety, training, reporting, and continuous improvements across the service team.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee preventative maintenance services and inspections to maintain superior equipment performance.
•Coordinate and supervise quality performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel, including employee training and a safe work environment.
•Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment and develop and implement service standards and procedures.
•Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, and service problems while maintaining customer relationships and improving response and delivery times.
•Create and present regular reports to senior management, conduct periodic appraisals, and develop contracts for commercial contractors and developers with ongoing rental or purchase needs.

Key Requirements

•Industry knowledge in the rental industry or a related construction field, with an emphasis on being innovative and dependable.

•Knowledge of work planning and scheduling, supervisory activities, and strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
•Planning and management experience, along with reporting and inventory management experience.
•Strong interpersonal skills with superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication.
