Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive engineering projects to completion with a focus on business impact and timely delivery.
  • •Execute new backend ideas quickly and serve as a resource to other teams and engineers.
  • •Build and improve backend systems that support customer onboarding, engagement, and conversion.
  • •Collaborate with applied scientists to connect and implement complex machine learning algorithms in backend systems.
  • •Partner with mobile and frontend engineers and work with Product and Design to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.
  • •3+ years of industry experience in backend development.
  • •Proficiency in at least one major programming language and ability to switch between multiple languages; stack includes Go, Scala, and Python.
  • •Experience building software with databases such as Postgres and DynamoDB.
  • •Ability to build APIs for full-fledged products and integrate machine learning models into backend infrastructures.
