Job Summary

Own end-to-end employee relations and labour relations execution for France & Belgium, including disciplinary processes, internal investigations, terminations, and litigation support. Ensure procedural rigor and legally defensible documentation while partnering with internal Legal, the London-based Employee Relations Hub, and external counsel. Support union/works council processes, coach managers on preventive ER, manage GDPR-related case needs, and coordinate selected local Learning & Development and GEPP initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including disciplinary processes, internal investigations, terminations, and pre-litigation/litigation matters.
•Establish and run compliant internal investigation frameworks and deliver written outcomes with follow-up of corrective actions.
•Support labour relations activities, including union negotiation preparation and Works Council (CSE) consultation coordination.
•Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters and promote a preventive employee relations approach.
•Contribute to litigation/settlements and GDPR-related employee relations case support; maintain legal watch and governance for ER processes, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree, ideally in Employment Law.
•Experience in employee and labour relations with hands-on management of complex employee relations matters.
•Strong command of French employment law; Belgian labour law knowledge is a plus.
•Ability to manage sensitive, confidential cases and produce strong written documentation and analysis.
•Experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment and fluent French and English.
