Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage small, medium, and large BIM models for specialist lighting services by agreeing drawing production strategy.
  • •Support BIM implementation of lighting design elements within BIM delivery scope and ensure seamless integration into multidisciplinary design projects.
  • •Ensure adherence to ISO 19650 BIM standards and documentation requirements, including development of BEP contributions.
  • •Create and tailor Revit families for lighting needs, implementing editable parameters for integrated lighting design data into building systems.
  • •Lead a team of Revit modelers while producing work to WSP/project standards and coordinating model managers, work sets/work-sharing, and CDE usage.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering/Lighting Design.
  • •Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical specialist lighting design drawings.
  • •Hands-on experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • •Strong understanding of Revit family creation, including parametric family creation and mentoring junior staff.
  • •Knowledge of industry standards for MEP/PH services and lighting standards, and experience working across multiple projects as CAD/BIM support.
