Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive cloud and AI/LLM efficiency through a single prioritized source of truth for cost initiatives and measurable savings and margin gains.
  • •Pressure-test savings by verifying realized vs. projected outcomes post-launch and preventing silent cost regressions.
  • •Build cost-attribution discipline with per-service, per-team, per-customer, per-feature tagging and allocation to assign ownership.
  • •Oversee LLM spend across providers by managing procurement and commitment sizing, and govern internal AI tooling spend with per-user visibility, quotas, and value assessment.
  • •Implement observability and automation for cost telemetry, anomaly detection, alerting, automated triage, cost-triage agents, regression detection, and self-serve attribution.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in infrastructure, SRE, developer productivity, or platform engineering, with 3+ years leading cross-team programs or teams.
  • •Deep, hands-on understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI/LLM economics.
  • •Proficiency driving efficiency/capacity or FinOps-adjacent programs.
  • •Strong operations instincts using SLOs, error budgets, telemetry, and postmortems applied to spend.
  • •Strong SQL and data skills, including querying BigQuery, building a Sigma workbook, and modeling scenarios.
