Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates on foundation using measuring tools and geometry knowledge.
  • •Attach rigging and signal crane operators to lift components into specified positions.
  • •Align structures and sections, then bolt or arc-weld supports and boiler components together.
  • •Connect and expand water tube ends to drums and headers using a tube expander; install valves, gauges, and related connections.
  • •Assist with testing vessels under specified pressure, perform field repairs by cutting/unbolting and replacing tubes/sections, and comply with all safety and project rules.
