Key Responsibilities

  • •Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for assigned categories.
  • •Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material.
  • •Track supplier performance across cost, on-time delivery, quality, and other metrics.
  • •Develop sourcing strategies for assigned categories (e.g., equipment, services, MRO, custom parts) to meet supply chain cost, continuity, and risk targets.
  • •Author and manage supplier contract documents, including applying contract terms to business needs and maximizing value through negotiation and cost modeling.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management OR 3+ years of experience in one or more of these in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience in contract negotiation and purchasing/material cost control, master production scheduling, or operations/supply chain management.
  • •3+ years experience with capital expenditure purchasing.
  • •Experience purchasing for more than one category.
  • •Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
