Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and analysis of transportation structures, including bridges and retaining walls, across project stages from concept to construction.
  • •Coordinate with multiple disciplines, subconsultants, and clients to develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates; ensure data integrity and compliance with codes.
  • •Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts, findings, and recommendations.
  • •Maintain QA/QC standards and mentor entry-level engineers, providing guidance and leadership to project teams.
  • •Collaborate with regulatory agencies and project stakeholders, supporting proposals and business development efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline
  • •7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior structural or civil design experience
  • •Registered Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in NH, VT or Maine or ability to obtain PE
  • •Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles, design/build processes, and applicable codes/regulations
  • •Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
