Cad technician role supporting mining infrastructure projects by creating and editing structural drawings to WSP CAD standards using Autodesk Advance Steel and Bentley MicroStation. Responsible for 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and QC checks across Mumbai/Bengaluru/Noida with a hybrid work setup, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality structural outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and edit drawings for structures, including piling layouts, reinforcement details, steel drawings, fabrication drawings and related architectural drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel or Bentley MicroStation
•Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings from 3D models
•Conduct high-quality self-checks and follow internal QC processes to ensure design documents meet standards
•Review engineering drawings against markups and verify modifications are correctly carried out
•Communicate progress and risks to the line manager and coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of experience in civil/structural engineering or a related field
•Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structure or a relevant field
•Proficiency with Autodesk Advance Steel and AutoCAD; Bentley MicroStation experience is an asset
•English communication skills (written and verbal)
•Experience with Autodesk Vault and Bentley ProjectWise is an asset
