Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and verify IO interfaces and mixed-signal blocks such as POR, process monitors, voltage/temperature sensors, and crystal oscillators.
  • •Write RTL coding, run synthesis and verification for digital wrappers interfacing with analog circuitry.
  • •Partner with custom and P&R layout engineers to oversee physical design and verification.
  • •Develop functional models and perform timing characterization of the cells.
  • •Create infrastructure and test vectors to support silicon validation on test chips, including collaboration with test engineers on ATE or bench and producing datasheets/integration documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •MSEE with 5-15 years of hands-on experience independently designing mixed-signal circuits in newer CMOS technologies such as 5nm or 3nm.
  • •Experience designing analog circuits such as PLLs, LDOs, bandgap references, ADCs or DACs, including AMS methodology and analog circuit modeling (a plus).
  • •Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Capture and ADE, and knowledge of spice-based simulators such as Spectre and/or Hspice.
  • •Working knowledge of LVS, DRC, and EM/ESD verification tools such as Totem/Pathfinder/PER.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills in English, including automation proficiency using shell scripting or languages like SED, AWK, TCL, or PERL.
