Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures for C-17 Training Systems (NIST, DoD, Air Force).
  • •Perform vulnerability and compliance scans using DoD-approved tools; conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
  • •Monitor and enforce controls within eMASS and support system accreditation under RMF, maintaining SSPs and POA&Ms.
  • •Support C-17 sustainment cybersecurity activities (upgrades, patching, configuration management) and assist with security authorization package sustainment.
  • •Continuously monitor for anomalies or security events, manage incident documentation/mitigation, and serve as liaison to internal/external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •At least 5 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documentation.
  • •Ability to prepare and deliver detailed oral and written presentations.
  • •Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
