Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons aligned to the National Curriculum for England, adapting to learners’ needs.
  • •Use effective teaching strategies (e.g., Do Now, modelling, questioning, scaffolding) and formative assessment to drive progress.
  • •Develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and oracy to foster confident, independent learners.
  • •Use ongoing formative and summative assessment to identify needs and provide targeted support for progress.
  • •Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment; support Students of Determination and EAL learners and partner with parents professionally.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject.
  • •Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 2 years of successful primary teaching experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England, including effective approaches to teaching English and mathematics.
  • •Experience teaching within a British international school in the UAE or UK (preferred).
