Key Responsibilities

  • •Refine the presentation of VA briefings, slide decks, SharePoint pages, dashboards, and other materials.
  • •Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and product teams using participatory design and creative brainstorming in an agile environment.
  • •Ensure applications meet IT accessibility standards, including 508 accessibility requirements.
  • •Collect and analyze user research data to identify trends and insights, then map workflows and user paths into storyboards and wireframes.
  • •Design and evaluate visual elements (graphics, icons, prototypes) using user-centric techniques like UI reviews and cognitive walkthroughs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years (or commensurate) experience in UI design.
  • •Proven UI design experience, including creating storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and low/high-fidelity prototypes plus UI specifications.
  • •Experience using mock-up and wireframe tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch.
  • •Understanding of 508 Accessibility standards, with experience delivering and meeting accessibility requirements preferred.
  • •Experience delivering products across a range of browsers and platforms, with excellent communication and writing skills.
