Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering delivery for complex property and buildings projects, coordinating design plan review and approvals to ensure code compliance and data integrity. Oversee multi-phase work across concept, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operations, while managing cross-functional engineering teams, budgets, calculations, compliance documentation, and technical reports. Drive client relationships and provide technical input to pursuit efforts, with focus on healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs, and industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate, review, and approve mechanical design plans to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
•Apply engineering techniques across project phases (concept through construction/operation) and incorporate future-ready design requirements.
•Manage and direct cross-functional engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, calculations, and compliance documentation.
•Prepare data visualizations and comprehensive technical reports and presentations to address design and construction issues or opportunities.
•Manage client relationships and provide key technical input on pursuit efforts while maintaining ethical and responsible conduct.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline).
•12+ years of relevant engineering, mechanical, and infrastructure design experience.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Extensive knowledge of mechanical design in the healthcare industry.
•Experience with mechanical planning, design, and construction management, including renovation and new design projects.
