Key Responsibilities

  • •Take over technical management of fatigue/damage tolerance and structure analysis-related projects for VTP primary and secondary structures.
  • •Analyze and validate composite and hybrid structures for static and fatigue strength, including feasibility studies.
  • •Prepare, check, and approve stress deliverables following Airbus processes and policies.
  • •Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations and design/manufacturing capability guidelines and support the creation of manufacture drawings inputs.
  • •Act as an interface to stakeholders and monitor/support subcontractors providing structure analysis work; contribute to digitalization and process automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • •Experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance and/or Structure Analysis methods, including finite element method (FEM).
  • •Experience with tools such as ISAMI, Altair Hyperworks, Nastran, PASS SSCI, and TREND.
  • •Technical approval delegation per Airbus M1020 (static and/or fatigue) or sufficient experience to obtain it quickly.
  • •Fluent in English and German.
