Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, lead, develop and manage the Sanctions team, including scheduling, interviewing and organizing team activities.
  • •Measure team KPIs, plan capacity, manage customer experience, and take ownership of projects.
  • •Develop operational processes, task allocation, training, and performance management to support quality and cost control.
  • •Collaborate with the Quality team to maintain high-quality sanctions checks and represent the work to regulators and auditors.
  • •Work with compliance and stakeholders to evolve policies/processes, manage training on regulatory obligations, and improve operational efficiency and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Be legally authorised to work in São Paulo, Brazil.
  • •Have management experience in operations or compliance.
  • •Have previous work experience in the financial sector or compliance with strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape (sanctions experience is a big plus).
  • •Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly with internal and external partners, including for audits.
  • •Be able to read legal and regulatory documents, formulate strategy, execute plans, and analyse team metrics.
