Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in providing application expertise and special technical data to business development, application engineering, and/or operations for bit and service applications.
  • •Serve as job analyst and job designer for global/region/NWA/country customers, providing technical and operational expertise in a professional manner.
  • •Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers and may develop sales leads.
  • •Perform assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles as the lead man on drilling services applications, including specialized service operations (e.g., coring and hole enlargement).
  • •Support pre-planning and post-job analysis with service coordinators and business segment managers, interpret wellsite data, promote HSE compliance, and participate in quality improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering relevant to the role, or at least 2 years of related bits or services field experience.
  • •Ability to interpret well site data to support drilling service applications.
  • •Knowledge of basic engineering principles applied to drilling services, including specialized operations.
  • •Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is desirable.
  • •Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
