Collaborate in a team-driven Gas Turbine Solutions Group to design, implement, test, and deploy hardware and software controls for heavy-duty turbine systems. Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Execute Hardware & Software Controls engineering for gas turbine projects.
•Conduct technical evaluation of bids for specifications and BOMs.
•Develop/review Bill of Materials, network architecture, and GA drawings; coordinate with vendors.
•Implement Ovation control logic and graphics for the Gas Turbine control system and verify performance using simulators.
•Coordinate with customers and field teams to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and post-installation support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in control & instrumentation, power or electrical engineering.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Gas Turbine Control System hardware and software development, implementation, testing and validation.
•Experience with major turbine manufacturers or turbine controls vendors (e.g., GE, Siemens, ABB, Alstom, Mitsubishi, etc.).
•Gas Turbine control algorithm knowledge (e.g., Fuel Governor, Sequencing and Auxiliaries, AGC, Isochronous and Droop controls).
•Proficiency with configuring database, logic and HMIs of one or more DCS platforms (e.g. Emerson Ovation, ABB/Bailey INFI 90, Siemens T3000, GE Mark V/VI).
