Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a variety of engineering tasks to build technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • •Learn basic principles of Civil/Roadway Engineering.
  • •Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
  • •Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • •Assist with collecting and maintaining project documentation and complete training on assigned tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • •Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
  • •Demonstrated interest in Roadway Design and Transportation or related fields and a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work.
  • •Competent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
  • •Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
