Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site emergency repairs, startup services, and preventative maintenance for UPS, battery, and power distribution equipment.
  • •Ensure peak performance and reliability through hands-on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • •Participate in annual safety audits and follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.
  • •Use Eaton-provided resources (tools, PPE, meters, and smartphone) while working in the field and complying with customer entrance requirements.
  • •Collaborate with Field Service Technicians and take direction from on-site leads while supporting customers within and outside the immediate region.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Two (2) years of Power Systems, battery technologies, and/or electronics experience (including relevant coursework and internship experience).
  • •Current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy.
  • •Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
  • •Perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs. and driving long distances.
