  • •Identify, develop, implement, and manage personal lines P&C underwriting policies and processes to meet enterprise priorities.
  • •Lead development of underwriting guidelines, controls, and strategies across P&C lines of business, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • •Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate underwriting appetite, recommend changes, and support strategic underwriting priorities.
  • •Develop and deliver underwriting educational programs/tools, training/mentoring, and communications to internal and external audiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •8 years of experience in Property & Casualty, project management, process engineering, business process, or risk management, including direct underwriting process experience and/or defining underwriting procedures.
  • •Advanced knowledge of insurance policy contracts, industry practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Experience leading efforts to interpret and apply P&C regulations to mitigate underwriting compliance risk.
  • •Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Access.
