  • •Provide technical guidance and solutions to problems for less experienced field engineers.
  • •Lead or manage small implementation teams and specific work scopes for site locations.
  • •Support end-to-end fiber optic testing using OTDR, power meters, and related tools.
  • •Coordinate planning, execution, testing, and sustainment of wired network functionality with base counterparts and Government POCs.
  • •Maintain and update network as-built documentation and provide training to internal and external groups on product features and specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree and 5+ years of DS Engineering experience, ideally in DOW environments on IT upgrade projects.
  • •Active DOW Secret Level clearance required.
  • •Familiarity with distribution systems (ISP/OSP) design and implementation documents (design documentation, as-built diagrams, rack elevations, circuit connectivity matrices).
  • •Familiar with all aspects of fiber testing.
  • •Strong technical and coordination skills, including reading technical procedures/documents and applying governmental regulations.
