Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Provide cost planning and estimating, including producing and presenting final cost plans and updates at key milestones.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources (subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams) and reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, and post-contract variance/change control, including contingency and commitment tracking across phases.
  • •Prepare written executive summaries and monthly cost reports, and support final accounts negotiation; mentor team members and drive best-practice delivery methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •5–7+ years of experience in a cost management or quantity surveying role within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting or leading cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement routes, value engineering, and construction cost management best practices.
  • •RICS accreditation or working toward certification is preferred, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
