Job Summary

Build and run reliable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for TikTok Shop, partnering with product engineers to ensure high-performance services at scale. Lead SRE solutions across teams and regions, improve observability, performance, and maintainability, and enhance stability, efficiency, cost, and security. Participate in disaster recovery planning, operate key reliability metrics (SLI/MTTD/MTTR), develop operational tooling, and handle on-call incident response to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide SRE solutions for TikTok Shop business scenarios across cross-team, cross-timezone, and cross-region collaboration.
•Build disaster recovery capabilities for TikTok Shop, including end-to-end switch-over solutions during extreme failures.
•Continuously improve TikTok Shop SRE core capabilities across stability, efficiency, cost, and security.
•Develop and implement operation/maintenance tools and platform solutions to improve infrastructure capabilities.
•Join on-call duties to respond to performance and availability issues, resolve problems, and minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or a related discipline.
•5+ years of experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++) or Go, or scripting experience with Shell/Python.
•Familiarity with e-commerce business and common network/access layer faults.
•Professional knowledge in operations, deployment, high availability, and quality assurance for large-scale distributed systems.
•Strong responsibility and problem analysis/solving skills.
