Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in environmental projects involving field investigations and environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air).
  • •Assist with subsurface site investigations including drilling, soil classification, well installation, and rock coring and logging.
  • •Tabulate, evaluate, and draw conclusions from assessment data derived from field investigations and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • •Prepare report writing and support subcontractor oversight as needed for project execution.
  • •Complete training on assigned tasks and exercise responsible and ethical decision-making while adhering to WSP Code of Conduct and related policies.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Geology or closely related discipline.
  • •0 to 1 years of experience working as a Geologist in the environmental field.
  • •Experience with subsurface site characterization, analytical data evaluation, remediation planning, environmental regulations, writing reports and small proposals, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • •Strong verbal, writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and within teams.
  • •Ability to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
