Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the project execution strategy.
  • •Ensure overall scope of services and work is performed safely, cost effectively, and on time while meeting client expectations.
  • •Provide HSSE leadership to the project team and ensure employees and contractors follow the project HSSE execution plan.
  • •Monitor and review project delivery components including administration, document control, project control, staff planning, engineering, supply chain, construction, and pre-commissioning.
  • •Oversee development of project budgets, schedules, and progress reports, and manage project change and risk systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering from a recognized university.
  • •15–20 years’ experience in an EPC/EPCM environment with construction and project execution supporting the mining industry.
  • •At least 10 years of increasing responsibility as a project manager.
  • •Experience managing greenfield or large brownfield projects ($100M–$1B).
  • •Mining project experience is essential; minimum 5 years mining and minerals project experience, with additional heavy civil, petro-chemical, or O&G experience considered.
  • •Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is an asset.
