Key Responsibilities

•Act as the authority for Environmental, Health & Safety, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene.
•Coach leadership and maintain EH&S training and job hazard/safety analysis (JHA/JSA) for facility tasks.
•Lead lean safety Gemba and ensure safety hazards are entered into Sphera by leadership and supervisors.
•Manage near-miss and injury/accident investigation processes, communicate root-cause actions within 48 hours, and implement corrective actions.
•Maintain ISO 14001 and OHS ISO 45001 programs, oversee compliance reporting, and integrate corporate/regional EH&S programs into daily operations.

Key Requirements

•Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or a similar field.
•3-5 years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar roles (or 5-10 years).
•OSHA 30 General Industry and environmental/occupational safety certifications preferred, but not required.
•Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations and safety reporting requirements.
•Experience leading safety events and driving safety improvements on the shop floor and with leadership.
