Job Summary

Support the development and administration of a corporate security program for Government of Canada and defence-related projects. You’ll conduct security risk assessments, define security objectives, ensure contract security compliance (clearances, visits, checklists, safeguarding, secure zone management), and audit security documentation for projects and site visits. Partner with internal stakeholders and provide guidance, briefings, and training while monitoring emerging threats and investigating incidents.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in corporate security risk assessments and identify improvements to the security program.
•Develop short-, mid-, and long-term security objectives based on completed risk assessments.
•Support contract security obligations and compliance with the Government of Canada Contract Security Program, including clearances, visits, checklists, safeguarding, and secure zone management.
•Prepare, track, and audit security-related documentation for contracts, subcontracts, site visits, and project requirements.
•Assess physical security risks, investigate security incidents, recommend corrective/preventive actions, and provide training, advice, and security briefings when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 95,000 - 130,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
•6 to 8 years of experience in a similar highly confidential role.
•Strong knowledge of security regulations, standards, and best practices.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
•Government of Canada Level II Secret security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one, as a condition of employment.
