Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement external communications plans for key product and business announcements across Careem’s verticals.
  • •Draft bilingual press releases, media statements, and executive briefings that reflect Careem’s tone and strategic objectives.
  • •Maintain and strengthen relationships with tier-one media across print, digital, and broadcast channels to secure high-quality coverage.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with Social Media, Marketing, Product, and Government Relations teams to ensure message consistency across channels.
  • •Provide strategic counsel on crisis communication in coordination with the leadership team and relevant stakeholders.
