Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as key day-to-day client interface, ensuring objectives are met through value-added cost management across the project lifecycle.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders; produce and present final cost plans and cost plan updates at design milestones.
  • •Review with design services and the general contractor; reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy to prepare cost estimate updates.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, change control processes, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Prepare written submissions and monthly cost reports, negotiate final accounts, compile benchmarking records, and mentor/coaching talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; data center/mission-critical experience is advantageous.
