Job Summary

Lead and translate customer needs into technical requirements for Loft’s satellite-based solutions, owning end-to-end technical engagements from initial discussions to contract signatures. Communicate complex concepts clearly to customers and engineers, evaluate mission requirements and CONOPS, and drive cross-functional alignment between Business Development and Engineering to deliver tailored space mission architectures.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical conversations with customers in English, translating mission needs into clear technical requirements and next steps.
•Understand Loft’s solution ecosystem (satellite platforms, in-orbit capabilities, mission services, operations) and discuss mission solutions with engineers and customers.
•Assess customer design and interface requirements for physical and on-demand missions, aligning with Loft’s offerings and specs.
•Drive development of customer-specific technical solutions and guide discussions to concrete program outcomes.
•Own technical proposal content end-to-end, including preliminary architectures and mission analyses, ensuring clear, mission-oriented narratives.

Key Requirements

•~5+ years of experience in systems engineering, mission operations, or aerospace engineering, ideally on LEO satellite programs.

•Experience working across functions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
•Strong systems-level thinking and ability to quickly understand new architectures and internal processes.
