Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead healthcare and education projects through the full lifecycle, from business case and planning through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • •Manage and coordinate assigned projects to meet scope, programme, budget, quality, and risk objectives.
  • •Act as a senior point of contact for public sector clients and senior stakeholders, building trusted long-term relationships.
  • •Develop and maintain execution plans, delivery programmes, budgets, procurement strategies, risk registers, governance frameworks, and reporting arrangements.
  • •Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental requirements, quality management systems, and AECOM governance standards; provide reporting and corrective action as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • •Professional membership of a recognised institution (e.g., Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor, Chartered Builder) or equivalent.
  • •Significant experience managing delivery of complex capital projects, ideally in a construction consultancy environment.
  • •Proven experience delivering healthcare, hospital, education, or other public sector building projects from inception through handover.
  • •Strong knowledge of project governance, programme management, procurement, contract administration, cost management, and risk management.
