Key Responsibilities

  • •Design access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and alarm systems for data centers and commercial facilities, ensuring protection inside and outside the building.
  • •Identify risks and threat models and develop layered security strategies (perimeter, building, floor, room, rack/cage) to mitigate risks in the security design.
  • •Define security zoning, access policies, and operational workflows (employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, deliveries).
  • •Provide CCTV views using 3D models and coverage maps to support security planning.
  • •Develop drawings, technical specifications, and bills of quantities while ensuring compliance with codes, standards and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university plus 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in security design
  • •Strong written and spoken English skills are essential for effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders
  • •Proficiency in software products including Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite and other Security Specific Programs
  • •Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of design experience with Security Systems and certifications such as PSP, ESS, CPP and RCDD
  • •Knowledge of codes, standards and regulations including ISO 27001, NIS2 Directive, ANSI/TIA-942 and related manuals
