Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead/support structural engineering projects for aircraft wheel and brake development and repairs, including design trade studies, FEA analyses, testing, validation, and resolving operational issues.
  • •Perform strength, fatigue, and fracture analyses using classical methods and FEA tools, define FEA model requirements, and produce detailed analysis reports.
  • •Develop instrumentation and test plans for strain-gage testing, analyze test data, and support product validation and qualification.
  • •Create detailed engineering reports, share findings with internal stakeholders, and present design reviews to external customers as required.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across product development and qualification, mentor new/co-op engineers, and help reduce NPI cycle time.
