Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive month-end and year-end close against the group calendar, preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments; complete balance sheet reconciliations and deliver the reporting pack.
  • •Support group consolidation across entities, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and FX.
  • •Assist with technical accounting assessments and ad hoc finance projects, contributing to group accounting policies and supporting notes on complex transactions.
  • •Manage the PBC list and audit request tracker and support external audit activities, contributing to remediation of audit findings.
  • •Improve and automate finance controls and processes, documenting changes and using AI and workflow tools to speed up the close and find efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 1-2 years of PQE and strong grounding in financial reporting and controls.
  • •Experience from practice, industry, or a multi-entity environment, with an instinct for clean, well-controlled numbers.
  • •Comfort working hands-on across close and consolidation: journals, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and FX across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with auditors, external advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • •Curiosity about automation/AI in finance processes, with NetSuite experience (or comparable ERP) preferred.
