Job Summary

Join HSBC’s International Mid Markets (IMM) Banking team in Gurgaon to manage and grow a corporate client portfolio. Deliver revenue and asset/liability targets through acquisition and cross-sell of banking wallets for clients with international footprint, while regularly monitoring portfolios for early warning signals. You’ll complete annual reviews, ensure FCC compliance, implement audit and regulatory recommendations, manage financial crime (AML, sanctions, and AB&C) risks, and mentor ARMs.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver revenue and asset/liability targets from an existing client portfolio and acquire new clients in line with HSBC policies.
•Support strategic growth targets via portfolio returns and cross-sell initiatives to acquire and grow banking wallets for internationally active companies.
•Monitor and screen portfolios for early warning signals, complete annual reviews on time, and ensure covenant monitoring and approval conditions are tracked and closed.
•Mentor ARMs to support client needs and ARM development.
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure timely compliance with FCC requirements, audit/regulatory recommendations, and proactive financial crime risk mitigation (AML, sanctions, AB&C).

Key Requirements

•CA/MBA with at least 5 years of experience in client management and corporate banking roles.
•Knowledge of commercial banking including credit and lending, trade and treasury products, key market sectors, and local regulatory environment.
•Ability to interact with and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Strong ability to work on fast turnarounds, tight deadlines, and competing priorities.
•Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
