Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure assigned client projects meet financial, schedule, and performance targets by tracking cost, schedule, and performance against contract expectations.
  • •Review performance trends, prepare cost impact analysis and monthly project performance reports, and recommend contractor invoices for approval.
  • •Prepare and maintain regular cost reports including actual and committed costs, update forecasts using earned value and input from the project team, and monitor KPIs such as estimate-to-completion and project end dates.
  • •Coordinate with project teams to develop work breakdown structures and communicate budget, cost, and schedule analysis to PM and project leaders; develop recovery plans when needed.
  • •Support contract administration tasks including procurement coordination for purchase orders/subcontracts, subcontractor spending monitoring, invoice schedule review, and monthly reporting for internal and external clients.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience in project controls or demonstrated equivalency through experience and/or education.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead the project controls function on small and large projects for a portfolio of projects and multiple project managers.
  • •Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • •Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, basic Federal Contract Requirements to support project managers on federal contracts.
  • •Detail-oriented organization with the ability to prioritize multiple competing project demands.
