Job Summary

Perform quality control testing and monitoring for crushed aggregates, recycle materials, and hot mix asphalt mixtures. Floater role between Haverstraw, NY and Pompton Lakes, NJ, with possible travel to other sites. Execute QC/QA testing per state/local requirements and Tilcon procedures, maintain accurate records, provide test data and recommendations to plant personnel, and support internal/external customers with material specifications and results. Comply with OSHA/MSHA and environmental health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Demonstrate support and understanding of CRH and Tilcon core values (People, Character, Performance, Innovation).
•Work safely and comply with OSHA and MSHA regulations and Tilcon environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
•Perform required quality control testing to ensure the highest quality materials are produced.
•Provide test data to plant manager and pertinent personnel in a timely manner and make process/mix adjustment recommendations.
•Maintain accurate databases and record logs; support internal and external customers with material specifications and test results as requested.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of practical work experience.
•Maintain current state agency QC/QA certifications and stay compliant with agency specifications.
•Ability to perform standardized laboratory tests in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards.
•High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•Ability to read English sufficiently to use specifications, reports, manuals, and regulations.
