Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure underwriting teams meet key operational performance goals and operational metrics.
  • •Assess underwriting processes and implement technical standards, controls, practices, and procedures; identify improvement opportunities.
  • •Follow up with producers on new business, renewals, and renewals in process; develop appropriate actions.
  • •Perform customer service and account management as needed, including issue resolution and policy and coverage questions.
  • •Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 7–10 direct reports, including performance evaluations, career development conversations, hiring/staffing decisions, and onboarding/training.
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 75,800 - 124,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area.
  • •OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4+ years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area.
  • •OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area.
  • •Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment.
  • •People management or supervisory experience.
