Job Summary

Build and lead a sourcing team responsible for datacenter compute infrastructure for SpaceXAI’s training clusters. Own GPU/accelerator, CPU, storage, ODM/CM, server, and rack sourcing strategies, negotiate major agreements, secure preferential vendor allocation, and manage supplier performance. Partner with engineering and platform teams to develop multi-year commodity roadmaps, reduce cost using should-cost and value engineering, and mitigate supply risks while tracking KPIs and reporting to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Build, lead, and mentor a sourcing team covering GPU/accelerators, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM, servers, and racks.
•Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps in partnership with engineering, architecture, and platform teams.
•Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, multi-sourcing, and performance management to meet build schedules.
•Orchestrate demand across SpaceXAI companies, align roadmaps with key vendors, and secure preferential allocation and capacity.
•Negotiate major agreements, manage ODM/CM relationships, monitor supply chain risks, and drive cost reduction using should-cost modeling and value engineering.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ experience (or 14+ years without a degree) in business, supply chain, and/or engineering.
•8+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, or commodity management focused on compute hardware (GPUs, CPUs, storage, and/or servers).
•4+ years of experience in people management.
•4+ years of experience building, leading, and managing sourcing teams.
•Technical understanding of datacenter compute architectures, including GPUs/accelerators, CPUs, storage systems, ODM/CM models, servers, and racks.
