Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and implement subcontract strategies, including defining and maintaining a documented district sourcing strategy using market and competitive data.
  • •Negotiate price and contractual terms with suppliers/subcontractors to achieve post-award savings, including re-bidding and value engineering practices.
  • •Drive supplier and preferred subcontractor adoption, initiate RFPs, review/analyze responses, and support subcontractor selection during proposal and pre-bid phases.
  • •Ensure subcontractors are qualified per Honeywell HBS policies; review requested modifications to Honeywell terms and conditions and conduct negotiations as needed.
  • •Monitor subcontractor purchase order conversion and performance, communicate with stakeholders on performance, and support claim preparation/resolution; represent the supply function in local leadership and lead supply initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (technical degree preferred); master’s degree preferred.
  • •5-8 years business experience, including 3-5 years in a relevant strategic sourcing capacity.
  • •Proven experience in subcontractor negotiations and comprehensive understanding of procurement/commercial terms and supply contracts.
  • •Experience with project business related procurement (e.g., construction/plant construction).
  • •Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement systems; strong leadership and communication skills.
