Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues and determine root cause and corrective action for failures at the shop and customer locations.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Operate and set up equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred; if not held, able to obtain within 6-12 months.
