Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure assigned circuits operate according to specified Key Input Variables while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • •Be a safety leader: adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules; identify hazards and report them.
  • •Operate circuit equipment, including startup/shutdown, handling/mixing reagents, monitoring process parameters, and responding to alarms.
  • •Review/analyze process data to optimize performance through circuit adjustments and maintain required sample/testing documentation.
  • •Manage/supervise Process Operators and lead plant operations when the Shift Supervisor is not on site.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma with operational experience, or a technical school diploma in a relevant field, or enrollment in a co-op engineering program.
  • •Previous plant experience in an operations role or testing environment is an asset.
  • •Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and work well under pressure.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player or individually.
  • •Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and maintain neat, accurate records and logs; flexible for shifts including night shifts; prior supervisory experience is an asset.
