Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and harden standardized workflows across contracts, revenue schedules, IDS logs, and commission tracking to establish an audit-ready foundation.
  • •Own ASC 606 operational execution: ingest contracts, review commercial terms, run monthly revenue recognition subledgers, and post core revenue entries during month-end close.
  • •Manage contract lifecycle accounting for renewals, upsells, terminations, and amendments, including non-standard deal nuances in partnership with Technical Accounting.
  • •Perform revenue close reconciliations and flux analysis, reconciling revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled AR, and AR allowance accounts and managing reserve calculations.
  • •Serve as primary owner for external audit deliverables across assigned accounts, providing reviewer-ready documentation and supporting schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive accounting experience across Big 4/public accounting and high-growth SaaS or tech environments.
  • •Strong US GAAP knowledge covering ASC 606, ASC 350-40, and ASC 340-40, including contract amendments and month-end close revenue schedules.
  • •Ability to standardize data and operate in ambiguity to solve complex accounting questions with real business execution.
  • •Proficiency with NetSuite (or similar enterprise ERPs), Excel, and modern finance tools.
  • •Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with AR/Billing, Deal Desk, Engineering, and Technical Accounting; CPA or CPC candidate preferred.
