Job Summary

Join NVIDIA’s Hardware Switch Group in Israel to design the CPO (Co Package Optic) switch system from concept through mass production. You’ll define hardware requirements and review schematics, component selection, layout, opto-mechanics, and DFM/T, while collaborating across board, mechanics, thermal, production, software/firmware, and RTL. The role includes hands-on lab testing for electrical/optical integration, validation, and troubleshooting during production and qualification.

Key Responsibilities

•Design the CPO switch system from concept through mass production.
•Define hardware requirements and review hardware aspects including schematics, component selection, layout, opto-mechanics, and DFM/T.
•Collaborate and integrate across hardware project fields (board design, mechanics, thermal, production, software/firmware, RTL, and more).
•Perform hands-on lab testing for electrical and optical integration, validation, and problem solving.
•Support production and qualification by accompanying relevant processes and troubleshooting issues.

Key Requirements

•B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
•8+ years as a System/Hardware Engineer designing and integrating complex hardware project executions.
•Hands-on lab experience and proficiency with HW and SW tools.
•Proven experience technically leading multi-disciplinary projects.
•Comprehensive understanding of RTL implementations (CPLD/FPGA).
