Job Summary

Lead CSA Engineer responsible for acting as the Client’s technical representative for CSA and HVAC disciplines on an LNG/Bio LNG project. Oversees EPC contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with contract, codes and standards, and project objectives, providing construction leadership, risk reviews, and design governance from conception through execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the Client’s technical representative for CSA and HVAC disciplines, ensuring EPC contractor engineering, procurement and construction activities comply with contract requirements, codes and standards and meet project objectives.
•Review and provide technical feedback on engineering queries, and approve vendor documentation including data sheets and technical bid evaluations.
•Ensure constructability, operational efficiency, maintenance accessibility, system reliability and safety principles are adequately addressed in the design.
•Perform technical risk identification and support development of mitigation measures, identifying deviations or risks and recommending mitigations.
•Participate in 3D Model Reviews and workshops (HAZID/HAZOP) as needed for the project and engage in Design/Vendor review meetings.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering, registered professional in an Accredited Professional Entity/Country.
•15+ years experience in LNG/Bio LNG/Refinery/Petrochemical Projects.
•Proficiency with Civil Structural design software (STAAD.Pro, SAFE, Limcon, TEDDS).
•Familiarity with Euro Codes, British and American design codes; knowledge of Local Malaysian permitting requirements.
