Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
  • •Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide information to customers and the agronomy team.
  • •Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
  • •Generate written reports and present them to a supervisor and/or customer.
  • •Assist with over-the-counter sales and learn invoicing/inventory management using Agris; also learn warehouse and agronomy plant operations and help maintain equipment and facilities.

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • •Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
