Key Responsibilities

  • •Enable ML teams by building and operating ML data, tooling, serving, and inference layers of the ML platform.
  • •Unlock offline and real-time access to trillions of data points for ML and Data Science teams.
  • •Manage, expand, and optimize the feature store for feature engineering, multi-TB training jobs, and offline/real-time inferencing.
  • •Support PB-scale data operations on the feature store using Apache Spark, Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka, and Ray.
  • •Partner with other teams and business stakeholders to deliver ML and AI initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years working in Data Engineering / MLOps, building and maturing pipelines for a PB-scale feature store.
  • •Deep experience with Apache Spark, Spark Streaming, and Ray Data, including ML data pipeline development.
  • •Ability to reason about data cardinality, query plans, configuration, and hardware tradeoffs and their impact on pipeline performance.
  • •Created infrastructure for training ML models and fine-tuning LLMs.
  • •Understanding of online vs. offline ML inference differences and what’s critical for success in each to meet business needs.
