Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coach cross-functional frontend/backend engineering teams; set performance goals and support full lifecycle talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, reviews, and succession planning.
  • •Own end-to-end card services (card management, spend limits, servicing, disputes/chargebacks, UIs, and supporting APIs) and convert product priorities into delivery plans.
  • •Ensure systems meet strict non-functional requirements for high-volume production traffic; govern API-first development, version control, backward compatibility, and contract testing.
  • •Define and enforce engineering standards for coding, review, testing, and releases; roll out CI/CD, trunk-based development, and quality gates to reduce production defects.
  • •Drive reliability and operability through monitoring, logging, alerts, runbooks, secure SDLC, PCI DSS compliance work, and incident response/root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven people management experience leading high-performance engineering teams building enterprise customer systems.
  • •Track record delivering complex digital products end-to-end (build-release-run) in Agile continuous delivery environments.
  • •Hands-on frontend experience (React/Angular/Vue) plus enterprise backend stack experience (Java/Spring Boot, .NET, or Node.js) and REST/distributed integration patterns.
  • •Strong software fundamentals (OO design, SOLID, test strategy, performance tuning, distributed systems resilience).
  • •Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites, with observability/incident management and compliance-aware development practices.
