Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and manage operational queues, reviewing client requests and tickets to proactively identify and resolve incidents and problems.
  • •Investigate, analyze, and log issues, ensuring tickets are updated with actions taken and escalated when needed.
  • •Provide second-line support for medium-complexity incidents and requests, restoring services swiftly in line with SLAs.
  • •Support shift handovers by highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks for the next shift; coordinate with other teams and Centres of Excellence.
  • •Collaborate with automation teams to optimize and automate routine tasks, establish monitoring for client infrastructure, and support change management activities including approved maintenance and ticket audits.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one technical certification in the networking technologies mentioned (e.g., Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Nexus).
  • •Proficiency in networking/security technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls.
  • •Strong planning skills to anticipate and adapt to changing circumstances in an operational environment.
  • •Ability to communicate and work effectively across different cultures and groups, with active listening and client-centric communication.
  • •A bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification/work experience).
